Zara in Australia

For anyone who's shopped at Zara, you know that the fashions there are perfectly on trend at reasaonable price ranges.  Over the last five years this Spanish-retailer has expanded across the world.  With over 1600 stores in 74 countries, now it has plans to open it's first Australian store in 2011. 

The announcement was made that it's first Australian location will be a Westfield's Pitt Street mall in Sydney.  The success of Zara in other countries including Uruguay, Argentina and Chile will make the transition an easy one for Zara.  Because Australia is in the Southern hemisphere, the retailer must adapt to the reverse seasonal differences as it has successfully in it's other locations in the southern hemisphere.

Zara's quick response to fashion market trends and its own team of designers who reference runway trends consistently are what makes the chain so successful.

I'm sure the shoppers in Australia will be very happy to have a store of their own.
