Karl Lagerfeld has confirmed he will be designing a one-time collection of limited edition women's clothing for Macy's department stores. The line will be available in 250 stores and online in September 2011. The designer has become an icon in the world of fashion. Having been the head designer for Chanel since 1983, he's become synonymous with that brand. However, Lagerfeld's list of labels he has been the creative force behind include, Chloe, Fendi, and his own label Karl Lagerfeld. In 2004 he also created a limited edition collection for fashion retailer H&M.
